1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CA Prep ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of Service

CA Prep is an online educational platform providing study materials, practice questions, video lessons, formula sheets, and mock examinations for candidates preparing for the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG) professional exams.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You must not share your account with another person. Account sharing may result in suspension.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

  • Access to premium content (lessons, questions, videos, formula sheets, mock exams) requires a paid subscription or pass.
  • Payments are processed through Paystack. By subscribing, you agree to Paystack's terms of service.
  • Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where expressly stated in a refund policy.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price change takes effect during their subscription period.
  • A free 3-day trial is available for new accounts, providing full access to all content. We may limit or withdraw the trial at any time without notice.

5. Intellectual Property

  • All content on the Platform — including lesson text, questions, marking schemes, formula sheets, video lessons, and graphics — is the property of CA Prep or its licensors and is protected by copyright law.
  • You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for your personal study purposes only.
  • You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, licence, or otherwise exploit any content from the Platform without our prior written consent.
  • The Platform employs technical measures (including content protection, signed URLs, and download restrictions) to safeguard intellectual property. Attempting to circumvent these measures is a breach of these terms.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform, other user accounts, or associated systems.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or extract content from the Platform.
  • Interfere with the operation of the Platform or overload its infrastructure.
  • Impersonate another person or provide false information.
  • Record, screenshot, or redistribute video lessons or other paid content.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While we strive for accuracy, CA Prep does not guarantee that:

  • All content is free from errors or omissions.
  • The Platform will be available at all times or error-free.
  • Use of the Platform will result in passing any ICAG examination.

CA Prep is an independent study aid and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG).

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CA Prep shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for your current subscription.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for breach of these terms, fraudulent activity, or other misuse. Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. Content purchases are non-transferable and non-refundable upon termination for cause.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
